Flower Vase Start to Finish

I have been working hard this week on one of my larger acrylics on 16 x 20 canvas textured, acid free specialist acrylic paper. I finished it today (phew!) and I happy with the results all in all. This style of painting takes lots of time as it is built up of lots of layers of semi transparent colour then there is all the line work to do. I like to infill some of the tiny wiggly gaps make by the slightly crossed lines that I make; that is quite a fiddly job, then there's my dots - my artwork often has lots of dots. Anyway ..... I think this is finished now. I may give it one last transparent light coloured glaze to finish .... not sure yet. Below are some of the steps in the making of this painting.
